Cookie Clicker is an incremental (or "idle") game where the main goal is to bake as many cookies as possible. You start by clicking a giant cookie on the screen, earning one cookie per click. As you collect more cookies, you can spend them to buy upgrades and automated production units like grandmas, farms, factories, and more, which produce cookies for you even when you're not clicking.
The game features a wide range of upgrades, achievements, and special events that boost your production and add layers of strategy. Over time, your cookie empire grows exponentially, leading to absurdly high numbers of cookies. cookie clicker is known for its addictive gameplay loop, humorous writing, and endless progression.
Originally released as a browser game in 2013, it has since been expanded and is also available on Steam and mobile devices.
